Welcome to First Presbyterian Church in Oregon, Wisconsin!

Thank you for checking out First Presbyterian Church on the web. It is a joy to greet you in the name of Jesus Christ from our new location on North Bergamont! Our first worship service in the new building was July 31 with an official dedication on August 21. As you begin to learn more about us, we hope that you will experience God’s love through Christ as we worship, fellowship, study, and serve together. We look forward to getting to know you and growing together in Christ’s love

“Welcoming” is an important word in our congregation. But it’s not just a word; it is a feeling of belonging. We hope that you will soon feel it too! First Presbyterian’s church family includes babes in arms, children, active teenagers, adults who juggle many different responsibilities both in and out of the church, and older adults who provide stability and the wisdom of age. We are involved in the Oregon community… its schools, its churches, its service organizations, its life. Together, we share a faith in Jesus Christ as Risen Lord, and seek to serve Him in our life together and our life apart.

Come join in on a new and exciting journey:

The Presbyterian Church in Oregon, WI, was established in 1845 as Oregon’s first church. After holding services in the district school house for ten years, the church building was erected on North Main Street. The church facilities went through a number of remodeling projects, the most recent of which was a Christian Education building, which was dedicated to the glory of God in 1989. It is fitting that that building is now the Oregon Daycare. In April, 2004 the congregation approved the purchase of a nine acre parcel on
Oregon’s growing west side. We have now completed the new church building off Bergamont between Jefferson and Netherwood. Come join us for a new journey in the Oregon community.

First Presbyterian Church: We welcome all, worship in faith, and serve with joy!
